One benefit of working with East Valley Pit Bulls is that we provide rescue vetting. Sad news occurred in our community in 2023; allegations were made against a rescue named Special Needs Animal Welfare League, located in Chandler. News articles and social media posts were made indicating the animals were in inhumane conditions, and the organization was alleged to be a "sham" rescue.

East Valley Pit Bulls strives to provide assistance to rescues in need. Part of that work includes weeding out questionable organizations. As a donor, we recommend always doing due diligence when selecting organizations to donate to. One way to do this is to review a non-profit's 990 form. 990 forms for all non-profits are publicly available and can be accessed on the IRS' website.
